F20 FinanceOps is accounting operations software for bank files, reconciliation and close. It is not cloud FinOps.
What
F20 FinanceOps is a free toolkit for accountants and finance teams. It converts the bank files Excel cannot read — BAI2, SWIFT MT940, ISO 20022 camt.053 — into CSV or Excel, reconciles two ledgers against each other, and runs the close checks that sit around those matches: statement quality, ageing, duplicates, suspense, journals, accruals, GL movement.
Each tool is one job. Matching and scoring follow fixed rules, so the same file produces the same result. Nothing here is an AI classification, and nothing is professional advice.
Why
Close work still starts with a file the bank sent and a ledger the ERP exported. Spreadsheets want rows. BAI2 is fixed-width records with control-total trailers. MT940 is a SWIFT message. camt.053 is nested XML. Opening any of those in Excel shows broken columns, not transactions.
Once the rows exist, the next failure is trusting a match you cannot inspect. These tools show every break with the records behind it — timing differences, missing references, amount mismatches — so a controller can check the answer instead of taking it on faith.
How
Open a tool, drop the file it names, read the result in the browser, download CSV or Excel when the tool offers those exports. An account is optional. Uploaded files are processed in memory and dropped when the response is sent. Nothing is written to disk.
A close path on this site is convert (or export) → check quality → match the two sides → review exceptions → run the book checks. Each tool page says what to have ready before you run it and which tool to open next. Talk is there when the exception list is the conversation you wanted.
